A Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD) report, often referred to as a Stormwater Management Plan, is a mandatory requirement for most development types—including residential extensions over 50 sqm, commercial projects, and industrial complexes. The objective is to achieve specific load reduction targets for urban runoff:
Compliance & Modeling Tools
These targets are verified using industry-standard modeling software, ensuring your project meets local council expectations:
The Assessment Process
The assessment evaluates the entire proposed site, focusing on all impervious areas. The initial analysis determines how the site performs using standard rainwater tanks. If further mitigation is required, advanced treatment methods are integrated, such as rain gardens, buffer strips, pervious paving, and enviss pits.
Once a STORM score of 100% or greater is achieved, a comprehensive roof catchment plan is developed to document the requirements for WSUD excellence and regulatory approval.
