Section J assessment is performed using one of two primary methods to ensure your commercial project reaches compliance:

• Deemed to Satisfy (DTS): The proposed building design and its services are examined against the specific provisions of BCA Section J. This includes completion of mandatory BCA Glazing and Lighting calculators. Any areas of non-compliance are addressed with practical recommendations to meet minimum levels while respecting project budgets.
• Verification Method (JV3): Utilizing sophisticated thermal modeling software, we approximate the annual energy consumption of the proposed building and compare it against a compliant reference benchmark.
